New Official Dates - Launch Your Franchise Competition

The winners will be announced at The Franchising & Business Opportunities Sydney Expo on 26 March 2021 at the ICC Darling Harbour, Sydney.

The inaugural Launch Your Franchise Competition is now scheduled to run into the new year, with entries closing on the 22 February 2021. The new deadline follows the announcement from the Franchising & Business Opportunities Sydney Expo events team where they have decided to postpone Sydney’s popular event to March 2021.

Exhibition Manager Fiona Stacey said “the business outlook is definitely improving and there has never been more interest in connecting – but remaining concerns around travel and public gatherings mean we simply cannot run the event at full strength.

We have been overwhelmed by the interest from visitors and the ongoing support of exhibitors. There is no doubt the pandemic has generated massive interest in lifestyle changes including the freedom of working for yourself.”

As a result, based on the announcement of the winners of the Competition being scheduled in line with our major sponsors' event, we have also had to make an informed decision to extend the submission date and mark the official announcement of the winners for the Launch Your Franchise Competition to the new date of 26 March 2021.

This is a one-of-a-kind contest that will provide an opportunity of a lifetime to promising businesses wanting to expand their network through franchising. It was created to recognise businesses in Australia that are hoping to expand through franchising, by running a competition.

2nd - $75,000 

3rd - $25,000

If you believe your business has what it takes to be big and is an aspiring entrepreneur, you now have the opportunity to share it with the world! You can also nominate a deserving business to enter the competition, which will provide the winner with all the necessary consulting, legal and franchise marketing work needed to develop the business model as a full business format franchise system.

All official submissions that have already been received, may be revised in line with the extended timeline. Any pending submissions will have the opportunity to submit by the new due date of 22 February 2021.
