I’m really excited to be part of the team. It’s a fantastic opportunity.

What led you to owning a Thermawood franchise?

Having seen its success in New Zealand, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of. It’s a revolutionary product in a niche market that provides a great business opportunity.

Can you tell us more about your business in particular - the area and your goals?

I own the franchise in the Toorak /Glen Iris area. My goal is to ensure quick and healthy growth, implementing a solid training program into the business model to empower staff to be the best version of themselves.

What decisions did you consider when buying a franchise?

I considered all due diligence aspects like cost, locations, time to set up, profitability and training. I also had to consider how my Thermawood business could be managed with the other businesses I own.

How did you find the training when you started your business?

The training was hands on from day one and being a tradie myself, I understood the concept almost immediately. The whole process is documented clearly in the manuals and they are a great resource to refer back when learning your way through the system.

Can you tell us a bit more about the support you have received since joining the Thermawood team?

The support network is great. The master (Jacki and Hawea) are always available when you need them and together with the rest of the network, are a constant knowledge base. We all have background skills in different areas and everyone is so willing to do what they can to help each other succeed. It’s a great positive group to be a part of.
