Camy’s rapidly expands franchise model across NSW.
Camy's Chargrill Chicken is ecstatic to announce they are opening up their next store in Macquarie Centre, New South Wales. They plan to have the store up and running by November 2023.
The brand is rapidly expanding and plans to open up 2 new stores in the next 6 months (St Leonards and Macquarie Centre).
The fast-food and takeaway food industry is valued at $20.2 billion in 2020-2021 and is projected to reach $21.9 billion by 2025-2026, expected to grow at 1.6% over the next 5 years.
DC Strategy partnered with Camy’s Chargrill Chicken to launch the franchise sales and recruitment campaign in 2021 in search of entrepreneurs looking to successfully launch and grow with a franchise network across Australia.
Camy's Chargrill Chicken is a quick-service restaurant delivering its passion for food through chargrill chicken, salads, burgers, wraps, drinks, and delicious artisan products with hush-hush ingredients.
The family restaurant opened in 2016 as a hub for the Founder’s family - a safe space to work, have fun, and share good food. Founder Cameron Khilla wanted to create a happy place and built the restaurant’s foundations on ensuring a positive environment for everyone for the staff, suppliers, and customers. The brand has now expanded to 5 locations in New South Wales.
Founder Cameron Khilla is excited to be taking the brand into new cities.
“We’ve always believed in our product and are excited that we will now be able to share our happiness and passion with more people while spreading our flavours and traditions in more places,” he said.
James Young, head of franchise development, comments that the high-end chicken shop continues to be a desired franchise with which people are keen to partner.
“Camy’s Chargrill Chicken brings a new era to the casual dining food space and paves the way for a young generation of franchise owners. Cameron has built a successful business operation and created a humbling work environment for his family and staff while in his mid-twenties!” - James Young.
The popular hospitality brand invests in technology to further enhance its business model. They have just acquired self-ordering monitors, which will bring down wage costs and increase speed during the ordering process. In the first week, the uptake of customers using these monitors was at 30%, and Camy's plans for that percentage to increase to 50-60%. They have also invested in and are trialling robot waiters in their newly renovated Surry Hills site.
DC Strategy is Camy's end-to-end partner in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia with our Hong Kong office supporting this next growth phase.
