The business began in 2009, with the first location opening on the shores of Dunedin by Director, Graeme Clarke. Graeme decided that a specific master agreement process would be a great way to introduce the franchise brand and engage dedicated master franchisees to cement the ‘Thermawood’ name down under. The plan was to build a platform for future growth. As part of the initial area development strategy, each territory offered included an exclusive business to run and operate as a franchisee and further to this was the fantastic opportunity to look after the franchise recruitment in each of their dedicated states; namely Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. 


2020 goals


Now with over 50 franchise locations operating in Australia and New Zealand, they’re ready to hit the ground running and have partnered with DC Strategy to find new franchisees for the existing territories (Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia) and also offer new regions as master opportunities - these include Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania. Their new ‘double’ expansion strategy planned for key parts of Australia will solidify their franchise network and give more people the opportunity to join their franchise team and be part of the double success.
