Camy’s Chargrill Chicken signs first franchise partner in New South Wales

Camy's Chargrill Chicken is a quick-service restaurant delivering its passion for food through chargrill chicken and delicious artisan products. They also provide local tailored catering.

Camy’s opened its first restaurant located in Mascot in 2016, followed by Surry Hills and Green Square. They will now be opening a brand new restaurant at St Leonards, New South Wales, after signing their first franchisee.

The fast-food and takeaway food industry is valued at $20.2 billion in 2020-2021, and is projected to reach $21.9 billion by 2025-2026, expected to grow at 1.6% over the next 5 years.

The popular hospitality brand is investing in technology to further enhance its business model. They have just acquired self-ordering monitors which will bring down wage costs that will see the increase in speed during the ordering process. In the first week, the uptake of customers using these monitors was at 30%, and the Camy's plans for that percentage to increase to 50-60%.

Using only free-range Lilydale chicken in their menu, Camy's ensures their chargrill chicken is raised and cared for on Lilydale farms by Lilydale farmers, with no antibiotics, no added hormones and no added growth promotants.

"Camy’s is such an exciting franchise business which brings modern systems, marketing and operational excellence to a sector in the food industry which is typically fractured and underdeveloped. Helping Cameron and Camy’s secure their first franchisee has been very enjoyable and we are excited about the growth of the brand over the coming years. We are looking to talk to hard working passionate people who can share in the fantastic model Cameron has created and come along on the journey!" - James Young Head of Franchise Sales and Development at DC Strategy

DC Strategy is Camy's end-to-end partner in Australia, New Zealand, and also Asia with our Hong Kong office supporting this next phase of growth.

Business opportunities are available in New South Wales and Queensland.
