Sola® Salon Studios Announces Expansion To South America With The Opening Of Its First Location In Brazil
Sola Salon Studios, the leader in the salon studio category for beauty professionals, is excited to announce the opening of their first South America location in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as part of their international expansion.
Sola Salon Studios provides high-end, fully-equipped studios for professionals, along with in-depth, innovative marketing, education, technology and business tools and support.
During a special launch event, over 50 key industry and media members gathered with presentations by Rodrigo Miranda, General Manager of Sola Salon Studios in Brazil, Richard Klevenhusen of the Brazilian Association of Beauty Salons, as well as top management from Sola Salon Studio corporate team. The Sola location in Rio de Janiero encompasses 4,915 square feet and offers 22 studios, a coffee shop, reception area and waiting room for guests. Brazil, as one the largest, strongest and most important beauty markets in the world, was the natural choice for Sola’s first initiative in South America.
“This expansion into Brazil is a significant milestone for us and underscores the success of our business model and concept. We are grateful and excited to be able to bring Sola to Brazil. We look forward to continued growth in Brazil and beyond,” stated Ben Jones, VP of Business Development, who leads Sola’s international expansion efforts. Rodrigo Miranda, who brings extensive experience in the beauty industry and was a former L’Oreal executive, will lead the expansion plan for Sola in Brazil.
“We decided to bring this superior business model to Brazil after observing the difficulty that beauty professionals have relative to setting up and running a successful establishment here. Sola Salon Studios provides a cost-effective, turnkey solution for anyone wanting to run and own their own business. I did a great deal of research and Sola was the only organization that provides not only state-of-the-art studios, but the essential infrastructure and organizational support that is needed,” commented Miranda.
The expansion plans in Brazil call for an additional 50 Sola locations in the country over the next 10 years. Sola Salon Studios currently have over 400 locations in North America with over 12,000 beauty professionals.
In 2004, Sola Salon Studios was established with the opening of our first location in Denver, CO. Now with more than 400 locations open nationwide, we are proud to offer salon professionals the freedom and benefits of salon ownership without the upfront costs and risks associated with opening a traditional salon. Our innovative salon model empowers hairdressers, estheticians, nail techs, massage therapists and other like-minded professionals to take control of their lives and their careers. We provide beauty professionals with high-end, fully-equipped salon studios alongside the support and tools they need to launch their salon business in no time.
