Ben & Jerry’s announces new locations and franchising information events across New Zealand

Ben & Jerry’s is no stranger in New Zealand, with Scoop Shops delighting fans with their favourite ice cream flavours since 2015. A few years on, the team are giving fans what they want - more locations, in more cities!

This forms part of the global brand’s immediate expansion plans, with the recently opened Mission Bay Scoop Shop booming and locations already confirmed for Christchurch and Queenstown earlier in the year. The news of additional sites should come as no surprise!

The latest scoop?

Ben & Jerry’s has confirmed locations in Takapuna, Wellington and another secret location in Auckland.

When it comes to ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s is the stand-out favourite! More than a million scoops of ice cream were given away earlier this month, with their annual Free Cone Day, a global celebration of community support, fan awesomeness, and funky chunks and swirls.

The Ben & Jerry’s franchise system is highly regarded in the industry and known for their extensive training and invaluable support. In May, budding franchisee’s will get the opportunity to attend franchising information events across New Zealand and meet with the Ben & Jerry’s franchising team to learn more about owning and operating a Scoop Shop.

Registered attendees will be introduced to Sean Farrell, National Retail Manager, Ben & Jerry’s ANZ and Bruce Lambert, Business Development Manager for Ben & Jerry’s ANZ to hear more about the all-inclusive franchise opportunities in New Zealand. The franchising event roadshow will be stopping in Auckland (including Takapuna and Mission Bay), Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. This a chance for anyone interested in becoming a Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop owner to ask any questions and get a taste of life as a franchisee.
